Appendix to the Press Release dated August 23 “On real results of the parliamentary elections”
Today, leader of ANSDP Bulat Abilov, Oraz Jandosov and deputy head of the Central Campaign HQ Joldas Nusenov held a press conference in Almaty “On real results of the parliamentary elections on the basis of precinct election commissions’ protocols”.
It has been stated that on 2,430 polling stations in cities and district centers of the country, covering nearly 4 million voters of the country, ANSDP got 10.9 per cent of the vote. This figure is derived from the stamped result protocols that were received by the ANSDP observers from the precinct election commissions. At that, in the period after the end of voting until 8 a.m. of August 19 they received result protocols only in 50 per cent of polling stations out of 3,559, at which our observers were present.
Below is a summary table, completed on the basis of these protocols.
However, it is necessary to keep in mind that these protocols reflect the figures, which had been already affected by the first wave of falsifications (rigging the voter registers, massive stuffing the ballot-boxes, so-called “carousel” multiple voting, discrepancy between the protocols data etc.).
Besides, the authorities are still refusing to provide the results data in precinct-by-precinct breakdown in cities, districts and towns of the country, although these figures could have been posted on the second day after the election day. This once again proves our statements on massive falsifications of the people’s will.
