On October 20, the 4th party conference of “Nagyz Ak Zhol” took place in Almaty. The delegates from all regional branches took part in its work.
Cochairman of the party Bulat Abilov opened the conference with a brief report. The delegates approved the main points of the report and unanimously decided to annul the decision of the 3rd party conference, dated June 23, 2007, on reorganization of the “Nagyz Ak Zhol” party and ruled out to restart its active work.
In the second part of the conference, the delegates were discussing organizational issues. Members of the party’s governing bodies – Central Council, Presidium of the Council and Central Control and Auditing Commission - were elected. Oraz Jandosov and Tulegen Zhukeev were re-elected cochairmen of the party.
On completion of the conference’s work, the delegates partook in the rally of in support of the citizens against sharp and ungrounded rise of prices and tariffs.
